At FCR Original, our workshop prepares motorcycles designed to ride, explore and last. The Triumph Scrambler 400 Escape was born of this approach.
More than a simple preparation, it embodies our vision of a modern scrambler: accessible, versatile and capable of extracting itself from everyday life without sacrificing style or real-world use. The Escape is offered on two distinct bases, the Triumph Scrambler 400 X and the Triumph Scrambler 400 XC, to suit different uses and rider profiles. In both cases, our preparation retains the Triumph DNA while incorporating the FCR Original signature.

Our approach: preparing an adventure bike without making it extreme
In our workshop, we don’t build radical or overly specialized bikes. We build well-balanced machines, capable of adapting to both road and track. The Triumph Scrambler 400 fits perfectly into this philosophy, whatever its version. With the Triumph Scrambler 400 Escape, we’ve sought to reinforce this ability to get out of town and explore, without turning the bike into a pure trail bike. The objective remains the same for both Scrambler X and Scrambler XC models: to keep the bike simple, reliable, accessible and fun to ride every day.
Why did we choose the Scrambler 400 X and Scrambler 400 XC bases?
The Triumph Scrambler 400 X is an ideal all-rounder for commuting, backroads and rolling roads. Its overall balance and ease of handling make it an excellent introduction to the scrambler world. The more off-road-oriented Triumph Scrambler 400 XC, meanwhile, offers a more assertive base for riders wishing to push the escape experience further. It allows us to develop a more pronounced Escape preparation, without sacrificing on-road use. In our workshop, we adapt the Escape preparation to each of these bases in order to respect their technical logic and vocation, while guaranteeing overall aesthetic coherence.

The Escape is not a fixed model. It is designed to fit both the Scrambler 400 X and Scrambler 400 XC, with precise work on lines, proportions and equipment. On the X base, the preparation emphasizes elegance, versatility and ease of use. On the XC base, it reinforces its adventurous character and ability to get off the beaten track. In both cases, the aesthetic choices, finishes and materials remain faithful to the FCR Original universe.

The Triumph Scrambler 400 Escape is designed to suggest movement and freedom. The lines are taut, the stance assertive, and the finishes chosen to evoke modern outdoor use. Our workshop ensures that each element fits naturally into the chosen base, X or XC, without unbalancing the silhouette. The aim is to offer a bike that’s credible on asphalt as well as on trails, with no visual compromises.
On both X and XC bases, the Triumph Scrambler 400 Escape benefits from technical work focused on feel and versatility. The engine retains its flexibility and availability, ideal for mixed use. The FCR Original exhaust system dedicated to the Scrambler 400 brings a more present sound and enhanced engine personality, while remaining compatible with everyday use. Technical choices are always made with balance and reliability in mind.
Triumph Scrambler 400X & 400XC accessories: extending the Escape spirit
Escape preparation is an evolutionary process. That’s why our workshop has developed a range of FCR Original accessories compatible with the Triumph Scrambler 400 X and Triumph Scrambler 400 XC. These accessories enable you to equip an original motorcycle or complete an Escape preparation, while respecting the aesthetic and functional coherence specific to each base.

FCR Original accessories for the Scrambler 400 X and XC are designed to enhance the bike’s protection, posture and legibility.
