An ideal base, a new ambition: the redesigned Triumph Trident 660
At FCR Original, every project starts with an intuition.
With the Triumph Trident 660, we’ve found a balanced technical base that’s compact, modern and, above all, full of potential. Its 660 cm³ 3-cylinder engine, natural agility and versatility make it one of the best mid-size roadsters of its generation.
But it lacked that extra bit of soul.
The character that turns a good bike into a machine that gets noticed.
So we prepared it, redesigned it, refined it. And we christened it the Triumph Trident RS.
The Trident RS: a roadster in our image
The Trident RS project is a complete interpretation, conceived with respect for the original base, but taken a step further: more committed, more racy, more assertive.
We’ve completely redesigned the stance, with adjustable half-guidebars, a custom-designed single-seat rear shell, and a minimalist bubble to lighten the line. Radiator scoops, plate supports and optical elements have been redesigned to give the bike a taut silhouette inspired by modern track machines.
In terms of ergonomics, the cockpit is lower and more compact.
You’re right at the heart of the machine, in a position that invites you to attack… without ever sacrificing comfort.

Each element serves an overall vision, without ever overloading the bike. Everything has been designed to emphasize the Trident’s natural nervousness, without weighing it down or confining it.
A creation born of passion… and luck
Working on a project like the Trident RS is a rare opportunity. To be able to start from a healthy, modern, well-balanced base and push it beyond expectations.
At FCR Original, every preparation is a statement. A way of translating our ideas into lines, sounds and postures. And in the case of this Trident, it’s all about revealing dormant potential.
We shaped this bike as we would sculpt an attitude: playing on posture, line and detail. Each component has been designed to reinforce the overall intention: that of a modern Café Racer, incisive, ready to attack, but never caricatured. The result is a machine that exudes real energy, as elegant as it is taut, as urban as it is racy.
And beyond the object, there’s the emotion. The emotion of seeing a silhouette take shape. The emotion of hearing, for the first time, the rumble of a custom exhaust system. And the feeling that a clear vision has been translated into a motorcycle that stands out from the crowd.
The Trident RS is not a technical demonstration: it’s a project lived from the inside out, a piece apart that speaks to the hands as much as to the heart.
To create this bike was to reconnect with what has driven us from the start: to give meaning to every gesture, to assert a style, and to continue to write, in our own way, the living history of the Café Racer.
A feminine Trident RS, between mastery and expression
In these images, the orange Trident RS is revealed in all its duality: sporty and responsive, but also accessible, fluid and almost elegant.
Fiona is seen in action, concentrated and committed, in total osmosis with the machine. Whether in town or on the track, her stance exudes confidence, precision and freedom.
Its sober, assertive style blends perfectly with the bike’s taut lines. Nothing is fixed, everything is in motion.
And it’s precisely this combination of technical mastery and freedom of attitude that resonates like a manifesto.
Here, femininity is neither an accessory nor a contrast.
It becomes an extension of style, another way of driving, of expressing oneself, of charting one’s course.
Movement as language
We didn’t imagine this Trident RS just to look at it. We created it to ride. To hear it. To feel it come alive.
So we went out and filmed it wherever it could express its full potential: in town, on the road, on the track.
The “Trident RS by FCR Original” video shows our vision of motorcycling: an aesthetic in tension, a mechanical precision, but above all an attitude, a style in motion.
It features Fiona and Foucauld, two different trajectories united by the same requirement: to ride with character.
With its racy stance and assertive elegance, the Trident RS is the embodiment of today’s Café Racer – modern, well-balanced, cut out for the city as well as the bends.
