At FCR Original, we’ve always seen the BMW flat-twin as much more than an engine: it’s a symbol.
With the BMW R12 G/S, we wanted to pay tribute to the spirit of the great Dakar epics, while bringing our craftsmanship and contemporary standards to bear.
This preparation embodies our philosophy: to push back the boundaries of neo-retro, combining performance, character and authenticity.
More than a motorcycle, it’s a modern interpretation of travel and freedom.
DESIGN AND CYCLE PART
Tailored rear buckle
Designed and manufactured in our workshops, the FCR Original rear buckle lightens the line and refines the silhouette.
Single-seater by default, it can be fitted with black-painted rear footrests depending on the desired configuration.
A sportier, purer design, true to our vision of made-to-measure.
Front axle
- Black anodized forks for a premium finish and total visual consistency.
- FCR Original mudguard, designed to match the fork perfectly.
- Spoke rim for classic, rugged style.
- Continental TKC80 tires, chosen for their visual aggressiveness and efficiency on mixed terrain.
The result is a bike that’s ready for anything, as beautiful in the mud as it is on pavement.

Same philosophy as before:
Painted shock absorber spring, to preserve the aesthetic unity of the whole.
Spoke rims for versatility and vintage spirit.
TKC80 tires, for exemplary traction.
ENGINE & PERFORMANCE
Beneath its racy lines beats the heart of BMW’s flat-twin, sublimated by our artisanal approach.
- K&N air filter: washable and reusable, it ensures optimum breathing even in the most extreme conditions.
- Ceramic-treated original exhaust line for improved heat resistance and durability.
- FCR Original titanium muffler, 100% approved for roadworthiness testing, combining lightness, good looks and the right sound.
- Painted rocker covers: a detail that makes all the difference, made in our workshop with top-of-the-range paint.
Each technical choice responds to a clear logic: performance, reliability and aesthetic coherence.
ELECTRICITY & CONTROL

FAQ
If aesthetics holds an important place in our achievements, your safety is just as important. This is why all our safety-related
parts (lighting, braking, mirrors, etc.) are CE (EU legislation) approved.
They therefore meet the security requirements required by the Ministry of Transport test. Moreover, within the framework of our activities abroad, several of our motorcycles have already been confronted with MOT in Germany and
Spain.
As far as exhausts are concerned, the criteria are still unclear. Our workshop is already working on solutions combining aesthetics and certification.
No, for warranty reasons our workshop only works with bases from our network.
